MAKHAI FAHIE

BIO

Illustrator, animator, and sound artist whose work explores boundary-pushing experimentation of sequential art through abstraction and interpolation. Graduated in 2017 from the Baltimore School for the Arts and attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Since then he's worked on a number of notable commissions such as Maxo Allen’s Cloud Say My Name, Frank Leone's Dont Start, Zimbabwean-British artist Kwaye’s Kindness single and Yungmorpheus and Grammy-winning producer Eyedress’ Rainbow Coalition video. Fahie has collaborated with London-based luxury brand ABAGA VELLI as their selected artist within recent years. Illustrative work was included in a short film for the brand’s 2022 London Fashion Week collection and animated work for Paris Fashion Week in 2024. Fahie has also been featured on The Fader, XXL, and the HBO original show Random Acts of Flyness created and directed by Terence Nance.
